How to use the UMPS system: This system is an in-season tool to help you
manage your team. It provides for
updated projections for all major league players as of the stated date. It reflects injuries, role changes, etc. as
of that date. Once you have input your
current league rosters it will show you the projected performance for each team
in your league as well as those players who are still available in any free
agent pool your league may have. Use
this information to project future standings and help in trades, free agent
acquisitions, etc. This is really not a
valuation tool but a tool to compare performances between players and see which
is likely to help your current team more given your league’s stats to date.
Reserve Lists Baseline Ratios for the 5100+ players in our system. Just check out your favorite players like Rich Stahl. (Note, these baseline ratios are as of 4/3/08). Players with a team designation that ends in "F" denotes their former team and the fact that they are playing elsewhere such as one of the independent leagues or in a foreign league. These are handy in-season reference ratios for players who are not in the program as of the April 4th update but who come up later in the year.
