Download Instructions: Download the following data files into your latest update of our software. Please be sure you have input the updated rosters for your league.
To download the files, click on the correct program from those listed below. If you are in separate AL and NL leagues you need to download those files separately. Only choose the combined option if you are in a league using players from both the AL and NL.
After you download, you need to copy the files from your browser program into the existing directories for your program (eg. SVAL08, SVNL08 or SVCOMM08 or whatever directory you have set up). Make sure you copy them into the correct directory. You then need to run the file either through the RUN function or by double clicking on the icon (eg. NLup608a.exe). Once you run the file it will ask you if you want to replace the existing files. Answer yes or click on replace. You should now be able to go into your system with updated data files. As a check, AL users find outfielder Matt Murton now on the A’s and NL users find starter Rich Harden now on the Cubs.
Remember – these files are not intended to generate “draft values” but rather to project performances for the remainder of the season so you can manage your roster, assess trades with impact on the standings, etc. Also, if you have kept your league rosters up to date it will give you projected performances for each team in your league for the remainder of the season (just add to current standings and see where you can make up ground or afford to trade your surplus, etc).
